Robsack Wood Teaching School Alliance is offering the opportunity to join in an exciting local NPQSL training group in 2019.
NPQSL Application Form

NPQSL is for those individuals who not only have responsibility for leading a team, but are also involved in leading a range of issues that affect the whole school or organisation. This includes those who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities e.g. a Director of a Specialism. The qualification will support you in becoming a highly effective senior leader with the skills, confidence and knowledge to contribute to the strategic development of your school or organisation as part of the senior leadership team. The support of a ‘sponsor’ from your school, usually your line manager or Headteacher, is essential to enable you to make the most of the programme. You will tailor the programme to meet your particular priorities through your choice of in-school project and a 360 20q Diagnostic of your leadership skills which will help you identify the areas you want to develop.

Cost information

Course cost £849.00 per participant or free if eligible for funding, as detailed below.
The DfE confirmed that the Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund (TLIF) has been set aside to support teachers and leaders in challenging areas to access the reformed National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) until March 2020. This funding will cover the full participant costs of the course for teachers working in Hastings (Including St Leonards) – an Opportunity Area. If a participant is employed in a school that is within a MAT, part of diocese or working within a priority area, defined by the DfE as a category 5 or 6 ‘Achieving Excellence’ area, then they too are eligible for funding. This includes schools within Crawley and Lewes. Please note that funding is currently under review and cannot be guaranteed for any participant.
